On-Page SEO Important Factors

Money Solutions Online Marketing SEO Website Optimization

Here are a few points to consider if you have concerns about optimizing your posts and page content in Google, Bing and other Search Engines.

Since the newest Google update, On-Page SEO means more now, than ever before. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out an RSS feed the key to getting a good Google PageRank or Alexa Ranking.  We now need On-Page Search Engine Optimization.

So what is considered good On-Page SEO?  Here are a few key points to help you out!

First off, when writing your post or page content, make sure that your keyword appears in the title, reflecting on your pages URL. You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has an acceptable keyword density of approximately 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI, which is, Latent Semantic Indexing.

LSI is a mathematical method used to determine the relationship between terms and concepts in content. The contents of a webpage are crawled by a search engine and the most common words and phrases are collated and identified as the keywords for the page.

Use all three H tags in your post

You can use any number of H2, H3, H4, H5, H6 Elements on any page.

You can use any number of H2-H6 elements on any one page, but this might be a bit cumbersome for the typical web designer.

There are multiple ways to implement elements. We would recommend, if possible, that you keep your pages specific about one topic. When you’re writing your title tag, it should be short, clear and descriptive but don’t duplicate content from the page content.

Suggested placement:

  • One H1 Tag
  • As many as required H2 tags to denote sections on the page (you should only need 1, 2 or 3 if you are keeping your page concise.
  • Consider using H3 Tags for useful link groups to other relevant sources, but try to keep headings for TEXT content (for instance, not grouping template navigation).
  • Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.
Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page.
There are many Keyword tools available online to help with finding the most relevant ones for your content. There are also many options, such as WordPress plugins available to help with SEO, among them are Yoast & Squirrly.

A Few little things to remember:

You should have relevant usage of Bold and/or italics of your keyword for best SEO optimization.

Implement one internal link to a page on your blog and make sure that you have at least one image with an alt tag that has your keyword. (You’ll find this option in your image setting/description).

Headings are not the primary factor in SEO, but still an important factor, nonetheless.

That’s it for now. Happy blogging! Have a blessed day!
